Qalinchagha Hill

Qalinchagha Hill

It is an archeological hill situated at 1 km south from the Castle. It neighbors the Cultural Museum of Erbil and occupies an area of 30 thousand m2. It was excavated in 1966 and it was found to be ageing back to the fourth or fifth millenniums B.C. It was inhabited by Man during the ages of Half, Alabid, and Warkaa.
