Erbil... French Institute Holds a Special Concert for Fête de la Musique

On Saturday evening, June 13, 2026, with the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; Yann Braem, French Consul General in Erbil; Sirwan Osman, Director General of Culture and Arts in Erbil; and a number of diplomats, organizations, artists, and music enthusiasts, a special concert was held to mark World Music Day.

During this event, artists presented a variety of musical pieces and songs, which were well-received and captivated the audience. The aim of this concert was to support art and music and to create a shared cultural and artistic atmosphere.
 

It is worth noting that Fête de la Musique (Music Festival) is one of the most important cultural events, and every year it is specially prepared for and celebrated with diverse activities in many countries.
