In Erbil... The 4th Kurdistan Education Forum (KEF 2026) Commences

Today, Thursday, July 30, 2026, the 4th Kurdistan Education Forum (KEF 2026) officially began at the Erbil International Fairground under the slogan "Contemporary Education, Skills, and Quality."
 

The opening ceremony was attended by Reber Ahmed, Minister of Interior; Mohammed Abdulrahman, the Syrian Minister of Education; Alan Hama Saeed, Minister of Education; Aram Mohammed, Minister of Higher Education; Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; as well as a significant number of government officials, local and international experts, teachers, and representatives of educational institutions.
 

This annual forum is considered a vital strategic platform for the development of the education and teaching sector in the Kurdistan Region.
 

The main themes of the forum include discussing ways to elevate scientific standards in schools, aligning curricula with the needs of the modern labor market, digitalizing the education system, utilizing smart tools, and developing the capacities and skills of educational staff.
 

Through a specialized exhibition and various panels and workshops, the forum aims to present a comprehensive roadmap for a brighter future in the Kurdistan education sector.
