In Erbil… Kurdistan TV Orchestra Performs Global and Kurdish Concert

On Sunday night, August 30, 2026, the Kurdistan TV Orchestra performed a musical concert in the capital city of Erbil. The event was held in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil; Safeen Dizayee, Head of the KRG Department of Foreign Relations; Chinar Saad Abdullah, Assistant Head of the KDP Erbil Organizing Office; and a significant number of artists, music enthusiasts, and fans.
 

The concert was part of the ongoing support for the cultural and artistic movement in Erbil, aimed at providing a distinguished atmosphere for artists and music lovers.

Led by Maestro Mamuka Alafishvili, the orchestra's musicians presented a collection of global musical masterpieces alongside authentic Kurdish pieces for the audience.
 

For his part, the Governor of Erbil expressed his gratitude to the organizers, supervisors, and all the musicians of the orchestra. He highly valued this cultural initiative and emphasized that organizing such cultural and artistic events plays a vital role in keeping authentic Kurdish music alive while introducing the audience to renowned international works.
