In Erbil... The 8th International Exhibition of Building Materials, Technology, and Cooling Equipment Opens

On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the 8th International Exhibition of Building Materials, Technology, and Cooling Equipment opened at the Erbil International Fairground.
The opening ceremony was attended by Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; Dr. Mohammed Shukri, Chairman of the Board of Investment; several consuls and foreign envoys; the president and members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and various business leaders. The exhibition features the participation of over 350 local and foreign companies, 400 global brands, and representatives from 11 countries. This exhibition is one of the major commercial events in the Kurdistan Region.

It is held annually to showcase the latest innovations in the construction sector, providing a platform for companies to display their newest products, materials, and supplies.

The exhibition will run for four days. Its primary objective is to introduce both global and local brands to the market and to elevate the quality of construction in the Kurdistan Region.

It is worth noting that the Kurdistan Regional Government, through organizing such events, seeks to create opportunities for closer collaboration and mutual understanding between foreign and local companies, ensuring that construction projects are executed using more modern and advanced methods.
