Erbil Governor: We are the governor of all parties without discrimination and our goal is to serve the citizens of our city

Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, in the governor's office, receives Ghafoor Makhmori, Secretary General of the Kurdistan Democratic National Union (YNDK) and an accompanying delegation. In the meeting, the Governor of Erbil warmly welcomed the guest delegation.

"We want to have strong relations with all political parties and represent all parties," he said. The Governor also talked about the development of relations and said: “We assure you that we are the governor of all parties without distinction and our goal is to serve the citizens of our city”. We also want to make unity in Erbil a platform to serve our citizens better as the administration of the city.

The meeting also discussed the political situation in Kurdistan and the latest developments in the region. Both sides agreed that all political Kurdish unity and solidarity was emphasized parties in Kurdistan should coordinate and cooperate with the Kurdistan Regional Government and the local administrations of the cities to further serve the citizens. Finally, the guest delegation thanked the Governor of Erbil for the welcome they received and they emphasized the development of relations and expressed their readiness for any coordination, assistance and needs.
