Erbil: US Consulate General celebrates Thanksgiving Day

On Friday, evening, November 25, 2022. In the presence of the Governor of Erbil and the Head of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Erbil Central Mayor and several US diplomatic and military dignitaries. The US Consulate General in Erbil organized a Thanksgiving ceremony, an annual American tradition at the Erbil Citadel.
In a speech on the occasion, the US president said that Thanksgiving gives us time to reflect on the many blessings that the Lord has given us. He has also given each country to each other. We are grateful for these prosperities, even and especially during times of trouble.
