With the completion of the design of Cornish Canal, Erbil will add another tourist area to its cultural heritage

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Sasan Awni, Minister of Municipalities and Tourism and Erbil Governor, Omed Khoshnaw chaired a meeting in the presence of the Deputies of Erbil Governor, presented two papers on the design phase of Cornish the main purpose of these studies was to emphasize the presentation of the second section of Cornish Street.
It also highlights the problems faced by the place and its surroundings, also finding the necessary and appropriate solutions to any problems that arise in the design process of the Cornish Canal.
Research enriched with questions, suggestions, exchange of ideas and exposure of problems. Emphasis was placed on solutions and several recommendations for the success of the Cornish Strategic Project.
It is worth mentioning that with the completion of the design project, the area will become a prominent tourist destination in Erbil.
