Erbil: World Anti-Corruption Week

Today, Thursday, December 1, 2022. In the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, on the occasion of World Anti-Corruption Day, the Kurdistan Regional Integrity Commission, removed the curtain on the painting of hotline of the Integrity Commission for service offices under the Ministry of Interior at the Sheraton Hotel. The governor of Erbil delivered a speech on behalf of the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government. He pointed to the essence of the agenda of the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, which works to institutionalize the institutions. This is in order to achieve a fair government with an identity of integrity and transparency. He also appreciated the work and activities of the Integrity Commission. Several speeches and activities were delivered on the occasion, all of which expressed the issue of fighting corruption and the spirit of transparency and integrity.
On the sidelines of the World Anti-Corruption Week, an art exhibition entitled “We are an honest generation” was opened for students. It contained several children's hand-painted paintings. They expressed the nature of the schools, the hobbies and the clean world free from violence of the children's world. It is worth mentioning that 120 students from Erbil General Education participated in this activity.
