A joint delegation of the Ministry of Interior visited the Ministry of Displacement and Migration of the Federal Government in Baghdad

Today, Monday, December 4, 2022. A joint delegation of the Ministry of Interior/Joint Crisis Coordination Center and Barzani Charitable Foundation visited the Ministry of Displacement and Migration of the Federal Government in Baghdad. They were welcomed by Evan Faiq, Minister of Displacement and Migration. The meeting discussed the latest humanitarian developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the situation of refugee camps and the main needs of the period were discussed and a detailed report was presented to her.

Then the joint delegation participated in the meeting of the High Committee for Humanitarian Relief of their ministry and held discussions with representatives of all relevant ministries.

Participants agreed that the humanitarian issue in the Kurdistan Region should be given special attention and made one of the priorities of the Ministry of Displacement and Migration and all other institutions related to the issue.
