Flag Day was celebrated at Diyari Mixed Primary School

On Saturday, December 17, 2022. In the presence of Alan Hama Saeed, Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor and Director of General Education of Erbil, Director of Central Education and a number of other teachers and students, Kurdistan Flag Day was celebrated in Diyari Mixed Primary School.

After listening to the anthem of Ay Raqib and a minute of silence for the souls of all Kurdistan martyrs, the students of the school raised the sacred Kurdistan flag. 

It is worth mentioning that the Kurdistan Parliament in 1999 introduced the official flag of the Kurdistan Regional Government and by decision No. 48 on Jun 19, 2004. Decided to declare the 17th of December as Flag Day and every year on that day on official institutions and special occasions.  Every year on this day as the day of raising the Kurdistan flag, several events and commemorations and respect for the Kurdistan flag are held, this year throughout the Kurdistan Region and outside the Kurdistan Regional Government this day was celebrated.
