The project of repairing Ankawa roundabout and paving the second phase of Surchian street is underway at a cost of more than (137 million dinars).

On Saturday, December 17, 2022. Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, accompanied by Hemn Qadir and Massoud Karash, Deputies of Governor, Nabaz Abdulhamid, Erbil Central Mayor, Abdulwahid Ahmad, Head of Erbil Municipality, Director of Water and Sewerage of Erbil and a number of director of municipalities, visited the repair and paving of Ankawa roundabout and the second phase of paving of Surchian street, which is being implemented at a cost of (137 million 900 thousand dinars) on the development budget of Erbil governorate.

The governor of Erbil closely examined the progress of the works and the requirements and instructed the engineers and supervisors of the project to complete the project within the specified time. It is worth mentioning that the project of repairing and paving Ankawa roundabout and installing binder layer for Surchian street at a cost of (137 million 900 thousand dinars) on the budget of Erbil governorate development, which includes 8800 m2 binder for Surchian street and 2280 m2 binder for Ankawa roundabout. The project completion period is 30 days.
