The Governor of Erbil, met with the mayors and all the directors Subdistricts of Koya district
Today, Sunday, December 18, 2022. Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, in the office of the mayor of Koya district, met with the mayors and all the directors Subdistricts of Koya district and officials of the district administration. The meeting discussed the situation in the district in general and how the duties and works are carried out and highlighted the shortcomings and needs of the district administrations and offices and directorates of the district. Then emphasis was placed on the duties and implementation of orders and guidelines and solving and providing shortcomings and needs.
In another topic of the meeting, the governor thanked the mayor, subdistrict directors and officials of the district administration in general and through them the employees of the district, they are carrying out their duties to serve the people of Koya, and said: “Despite the difficult financial situation since 2012, as Erbil governorate and offices and directorates of our province, we have been able deliver service projects to the citizens to a good extent, It is not a thank you that these works have been done but we have fulfilled our duty, and what has not been done is obviously due to the financial crisis and lack of budget.”.
The Governor of Erbil regarding the program and plan of Erbil governorate for 2023 and the delivery of necessary services and projects to the district of Koya, said: “ “We have plans for the next year 2023, a lot of good service projects within the framework of development projects in Erbil governorate, under the guidance of Mr. Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, equally and without discrimination in Koya and its subdistricts and villages to offer to this beloved city, we will not hesitate to do what we can. Koya is one of the most important districts in Erbil and we will serve it with all our hearts and souls.".
He said “As Erbil governorate, we are responsible for any shortcomings in any part of our governorate and what is necessary to solve and eliminate these shortcomings and needs will be done,".
