The representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government participated in the Christmas celebration

On Sunday Evening, December 25, 2022. Rebar Ahmad, Minister of Interior, Dr. Pshtiwan Sadiq, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Ano Jawhar, Minister of Transport and Communication, accompanied by the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government, on the occasion of the birthday of the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) at Mar Youssef Church in Ankawa, participated in the Eid celebrations.
On this occasion, they sent a congratulatory message to the Christian brothers from Mr. Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government and hoped that this holiday would bring happiness and more stability in Kurdistan, and stressed the importance of developing a culture of peaceful coexistence, mutual acceptance, tolerance and moderation among the communities of the Kurdistan people.
It is worth mentioning that one of the beautiful cultures of the Kurdistan Region in general and Erbil in particular is the religious coexistence between all communities and as a tradition everyone participates in each other's religious and social celebrations every year.
