In Safeen Mountain, a cable car project is being implemented

On Sunday, April 2, 2023. During his visit to the Shaqlawa district, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, accompanied by Aras Haso Mirkhan, Shaqlawa District Mayor and Director of Tourism, visited Safeen Mountain.

The Erbil governorate administration intends to implement the Safeen Mountain cable car project in the Shaqlawa district in the near future with the goal of developing the tourism sector and increasing tourism income sources, as the project is to be implemented by Sipan Company.

It is worth mentioning that Safeen Mountain is a desirable location with a beautiful natural resource that can attract and increase the number of tourists; the cable car project in this area is a significant practical step toward promoting and developing the tourism sector in Erbil governorate.
