Following the completion of the water storage pond project, the governor of Erbil paid a visit to the village of Karitan in the Dibaga Subdistrict

On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, Governor of Erbil Omed Khoshnaw visited the water storage pond project in Karitan village of Dibaga Subdistrict along with Sangar Kanabi, head of the 23rd branch of the KDP in Karachugh, Masoud Karash, deputy governor, Hunar Nuri, director general of roads and infrastructure in Erbil, and Dibaga Subdistrict director.

The project, which has the capacity to collect 80,000 cubic meters of water, is being implemented at a cost of 156 million dinars from the Erbil governorate's development budget. This project is one of the strategic and important projects that will bring great benefits to increase groundwater and irrigated land, as well as the areas (Shamamk - Dibaga - Karitan village) will benefit in livestock.
