Paris: The governor of Erbil paid a visit to Iraqi ambassador in France

On Saturday, April 29, 2023. Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, paid a visit to the Iraqi Embassy in Paris and was greeted warmly by Dr. Wadee Al-Batti, the Ambassador of Iraq in France.

The Iraqi Ambassador welcomed the Governor of Erbil and expressed his appreciation for his visit during the meeting. The Governor then highlighted his trip to Paris, including meetings with Ms. Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, and participation in the International Association of Francophone Mayors Conference.

He also praised the Iraqi Ambassador in France and the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation for their collaboration, aid, and service to citizens, and requested him to play a role in the efforts to create a direct flight between Erbil and Paris.

In this regard, the Iraqi Ambassador in France expressed his willingness to provide all assistance and support, and the two sides then discussed a number of other issues concerning relations between the Kurdistan Region, France, and Iraq.
