May the 47th anniversary of the Gulan Revolution be higher and higher

The anniversary of the Gulan Revolution is a symbol of the triumph of a people deprived of their rights and an important achievement for the entire Kurdish people, therefore, on the anniversary of the commencement of this progressive revolution, we congratulate our beloved President Barzani, our devoted Peshmergas, and all patriots.

As the stories of those who led the Gulan Revolution and the pages of history attest, the Kurdish opponents conspired against the Great September Revolution in order to save themselves from defeat; to some extent, they believed that the Algerian conspiracy would destroy the Kurdistan People's Revolution.

The Ba'ath regime was so arrogant that it believed it had won. Therefore, he threatened to annihilate the Kurds and eradicate Kurdish culture, but the Gulan Revolution put an end to his threats, the outbreak of the Gulan Revolution sent a waist-breaking message to the enemies and the flames of the Gulan Revolution frightened the invaders and reaffirmed the national message of the Kurdish people, the spirit of the September Revolution and the thoughts and charisma of the late Barzani have been mixed with the May Revolution.

This objective and strategy were responsible for the national reconciliation, unity, and cohesion of Kurdish forces and parties. The power of the Ba'ath regime in Iraq was then shaken, and the regime's hubris caused it to make a major political error.

Eventually, the mass insurrection of the Kurdish people in March 1991 and the establishment of constitutional and legitimate institutions in the Kurdistan Region became de facto.

On this momentous occasion, we honor the spirits of the Gulan Revolution martyrs and all Kurdistan martyrs.
