The governor of Erbil receives a joint delegation from the International Federation of Democratic Youth and the Kurdish Youth Congress

Erbil governor, Omed Khoshnaw received a joint delegation from the International Federation of Democratic Youth and the Kurdish Youth Conference at the governorate office today, Sunday, May 28, 2023.

During the meeting, the governor of Erbil, in addition to welcoming the visiting delegation, commended them for putting their trust in an engaged Kurdish youth like Falah Hassan to take on such a sensitive role among the world's youth.
 

For his part, Falah Hassan, president of the Kurdish Youth Congress, thanked the governor of Erbil on behalf of the delegation for providing this opportunity, and stated that our actions overseas were intended to enhance the Kurdistan lobby and the Kurdish people's diplomacy.

He emphasized that the governor of Erbil, who was then the secretary of the Youth Union, is regarded as the architect of forging links between Kurdish youth and world youth.
He also expressed his admiration for the Kurdistan people's struggle and the valor of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces in the fight against terrorism and the defense of humanity, as well as the breadth and entrenchment of the Kurdistan Region's culture of coexistence and national and religious harmony.

Despite the crises and impediments, the Governor of Erbil confirmed that the Kurdistan Regional Government is continuing its efforts to implement substantial reforms and expand lines of contact with the regional and international environments.

The governor expressed his joy at meeting the delegation and hoped that they would be able to accomplish their goals during their stay in Erbil.

It’s worth mentioning that the delegation included members of the German Christian Democratic Union, the European Political Youth Presidency, the Swiss New Youth Party, the Italian Perla La Liberta party, and the Serbian Democratic Party.
