The delegation from the Kurdistan Region meets with the Urmia Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government, consisting of the governors of Erbil, Dohuk, Sulaymaniyah, and Halabja, as well as the supervisors of the Independent Administrations Germiyan, Soran, and Raparin, and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and the Federation of Importers and Exporters in Kurdistan accompanied by the governor of West Azerbaijan, visited the Urmia Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of its mission to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, which was attended by Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Iraqi Affairs, Syed Ali Tababa Tabai, the two sides discussed the economic situation between the two sides, as well as how to improve and increase trade exchange between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran at border crossings, as well as find appropriate mechanisms and solutions to improve industrial, trade, and investment relations between the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Kurdistan Region delegation presented shields to Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Iraqi Affairs, the Governor of Urmia, and the President of the Urmia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
