Erbil... The Kurdistan Prime Minister inaugurates the "HITEX" Technology Exhibition

Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, inaugurated the "HITEX 2023" Technology Exhibition in Erbil today, Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

The four-day exhibition is a week of technology, showcasing the most recent technological advancements. This is the fourth time Erbil has hosted this exhibition, in which 121 companies from 20 countries are participating.

In his speech, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw emphasized the primary aim of holding such an exhibition, emphasizing that it is a source of pride for the majority of the local products on display. As a result, the government will rely more on local capabilities in the fields of construction, reconstruction, and service digitization.

The exhibition had a large turnout on the first day of its launch, and it is planned to run until June 9th.

"HITEX is an annual information technology and electronics exhibition held for the fourth time on the grounds of the Erbil International Fair in the Kurdistan Region to contribute to the development of companies and businesses, where participants from around the world display their most advanced products, services, and technological innovations."

Every year, the HITEX International Technology Exhibition focuses on introducing small firms, and this year, 32 small businesses engage in its current session, presenting their ideas in the hopes of receiving investment opportunities.
