In the presence of the Governor of Erbil, the third Korean cultural festival commenced its activities

in the evening of Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, the third cultural festival of the Korean Consulate was held in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

The festival featured a range of cultural, artistic, and heritage acts, as well as dance and fashion shows that told South Korea's success story.
 

In a speech on the occasion, Erbil Governor Omid Khoshnaw stated, "South Korea has provided a lot of development services in the fields of education, culture, and community development in the Kurdistan Region in general and Erbil, the capital, in particular."
 

It is worth noting that South Korea has increased its representation in the Kurdistan Region to the level of Consulate General since 2016.
