Nashville welcomes Erbil delegation with Kurdistan sacred flag
To welcome the Governor of Erbil and his accompanying delegation, and as a tribute to the cooperation and coordination between the two sides, and on the occasion of signing a sister city agreement with Erbil, the Municipality and Administration of Nashville, Tennessee, USA, known as "Little Kurdistan," lit the Korean Veterans Memorial Bridge, one of the city's main and famous bridges, with the sacred Kurdistan flag.
Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw visited the bridge today, Thursday, September 7, 2023, accompanied by Nashville Mayor John Cooper and Kurdistan Regional Government Representative in the United States Trifa Aziz.
Regarding this, the governor thanked the municipality and city administration for hoisting the sacred Kurdistan flag.
And stated: "the lighting of the bridge with the sacred Kurdistan flag by the administration and municipality of Nashville, Tennessee, one of the largest countries in the world, is a tribute to the Kurdish people's struggle and sacrifice, as well as the blood of martyrs."
