The Governor of Erbil visits the Nashville American Chamber of Commerce

On Friday, September 8, 2023, as part of his visit to the United States of America, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, accompanied by the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in the United States of America, Trefa Aziz, and his accompanying delegation visited the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and met with the president and members of the city's Chamber of Commerce.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed developing and strengthening economic relations between the US and the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the importance of trade exchanges between the two countries, creating job opportunities for American businesses, and drawing on US experience to continue developing and rebuilding Erbil.

The Governor of Erbil, for his part, stated his willingness to provide all legal and administrative support to American enterprises and businessmen desiring to engage in Erbil in order to play an effective role in commercial and industrial development and investment in the Kurdistan Region.
