Erbil… The 10th Erbil International Marathon began

The tenth Erbil International Marathon began on Friday, October 27, 2023, with the participation of Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, under the theme "Sports brings us together," with thousands of runners participating.

More than 4,000 people of all ages, countries, and genders took part in three separate marathon races.

The slogan for the tenth edition of the Erbil International Marathon was "Sport brings us together."

The Erbil Marathon seeks to represent the state of coexistence in Kurdistan and the surrounding area, especially considering that the participants wore white shirts as a symbol of peace.

The athletes competed in three races: a distance of 42 kilometers, followed by distances of 12 kilometers, and 2 kilometers.

At the conclusion, awards were given to the champions of the three categories.
