The Governor of Erbil receives the official of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's seventh branch in the United States of America

On Wednesday, November 8, the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, received at the governorate’s office, Hikmat Bamari, head of the seventh branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the United States of America.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the general political situation in Iraq as well as relations between the United States of America and the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the importance of improving bilateral relations between the US and Kurdistan.

The Governor of Erbil, for his part, praised the role and influence of the Kurdish community in the United States, stating that the Kurdish community in the United States is a source of pride for us, given the important role they play in preserving Kurdish heritage and culture and supporting the Kurdistan Region's experience.
