The Governor of Erbil honors a Kurdish journalist and activist

On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw presented a certificate of appreciation and honor to Kurdish journalist and activist Rahim Rashidi, as he received him at the governorate’s office.
the Governor of Erbil thanked Rashidi for his continuous work in the field of journalism and his tireless activity in defending the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people in coordination with the Kurdish community abroad.
 

Mr. Kurd used his knowledge and expertise as a representative of the Kurdistan community in the United States and Canada to develop relations between Erbil and Washington.

He played a prominent role in the twinning agreement between Erbil and Nashville, and in the opening of the American Surgeons branch in the city of Erbil.
The Governor of Erbil wished him continued success and described him as an enthusiastic and dedicated supporter of his people's cause.
