Dubai… A special panel and meeting on the Kurdistan Region were conducted

On Friday, December 8, 2023, with the participation of a delegation from the Kurdistan Region which consisted of Kamal Muslim, Minister of Trade and Industry, Bigard Talabani, Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Dr. Mohammed Shukri, Chairman of the Investment Board, and Guhdar Shekho, Supervisor of the Zakho Independent Administration, Sarwar Hawari, Deputy Ministry of Trade, and in the presence of the representative of the Iraqi Prime Minister, the UAE Trade Minister and the British Ambassador to Iraq, a special panel and meeting on the Kurdistan Region were conducted in the framework of the annual conference of the Iraqi-UK Business Council in Dubai under the title "Iraq: Building a Sustainable Future".
 

The panel discussed the investment sector, agriculture, industry, trade, banking, banking system, tourism, climate issues, dams, and various other issues, as well as investment potential and attracting more investors to the Kurdistan Region.
