Governor of Erbil receives a delegation from UNHCR

Today, wednesday, December 13, 2023 Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw received a delegation of UNHCR consisting of Akasio Jafar, former head of the organization's Erbil office and Armin Hosho, new head of the organization's office.

During the meeting, attended by the Director of EJCC Erbil Province, the former Head of the UNHCR Erbil Office expressed gratitude to the Governor for his hospitality and acknowledged the ongoing support, coordination, and assistance provided to their organization. This collaboration has been instrumental in serving refugees in Erbil province.

The Governor of Erbil expressed appreciation for Acasio Jafar's past efforts, thanking him for collaboration and partnership. Wishing Jafar success in future work, the Head of UNHCR Erbil Office highlighted full support and emphasized working together with the provincial team to serve refugees in Erbil province's camps.
