Erbil.. Opening a center to grant entry visas to those wishing to visit France
Today, Tuesday, January 9, 2024, the French Consulate General in Erbil, in the presence of Omid Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Safeen Dizayee, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Kurdistan Regional Government, and the French Consul General in Erbil, opened a center for granting entry visas to those wishing to visit France. With the aim of facilitating the issuance of visas for citizens, tourists and investors.
Brim stated during the conference that the purpose of establishing this center is to facilitate the process of obtaining entry visas for citizens, tourists, and investors intending to visit France.
He further emphasized that scheduling an appointment for a visa interview at the consulate would be free of charge, reassuring citizens that they would no longer need to approach travel and tourism offices for appointment bookings after the opening of this center.
For his part, the Governor of Erbil congratulated this step in his speech, and spoke about the positive changes made by the French Consulate in cooperation with Teles in the field of French visas.
The Governor of Erbil confirmed that the Kurdistan Regional Government has had close and strong relations with France throughout history and will continue this policy.
It should be noted that this center is an official center through which citizens can apply for a visa.
