President Nechirvan Barzani attends the memorial service for the late Peshraw Dizayee

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024. President Nechirvan Barzani was present at the memorial service held in honor of the late Peshraw Dizayee and his infant daughter Zhina, who were tragically killed along with several other innocent civilians in a missile attack carried out by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Erbil.

Nechirvan Barzani conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the grieving family, praying for the departed souls to rest in peace and for their loved ones to find strength and perseverance at this very difficult time.
 

On January 15, 2024, Erbil witnessed a ballistic missile strike, claimed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. Unfortunately, this led to the tragic loss of five civilian lives, and six others were injured.
