Erbil.. Launch of Knowledge University exhibition to provide job opportunities

On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, in Erbil, the fifth Knowledge University exhibition for job opportunities was inaugurated under the patronage of Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw. The event witnessed the participation of over 100 local entities. Initiated by the Governor of Erbil, the exhibition seeks to generate numerous job prospects for the youth in the region. Its objectives include connecting academic sectors with the job market and establishing a platform for unemployed graduates to explore opportunities, fostering a link between universities and institutes in Kurdistan.
 

The Erbil Governor emphasized the significance of inaugurating this exhibition, describing it as a bridge for attracting companies in need of specialized skills, as well as young individuals and students seeking employment.
 

He highlighted its role in diminishing unemployment and providing opportunities for a substantial number of jobless youth. Emphasizing the priority placed on generating employment for students and youth, the Governor of Erbil highlighted its importance within the ninth cabinet program of the regional government.

He expressed hope that numerous young individuals at the exhibition would secure job opportunities, enabling them to shape their futures and actively contribute to the development and construction of Kurdistan.
