The Governor of Erbil receives the former Governor of Babylon and a member of the political bureau of the Al-Hikma Movement

On Thursday, February 22, 2024, the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, received Dr. Hassan Mandil Al-Siryawi, former governor of Babylon and member of the political bureau of the Al-Hikma Movement, along with his accompanying delegation.
 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest political and security developments on the Iraqi scene in general, and the current conditions that the region is going through.
 

The meeting also addressed matters concerning the responsibilities and performance of local governments, emphasizing the general duties of the federal government towards the governorates. They underscored the ongoing service projects within Erbil Governorate's borders and emphasized the commitment to providing enhanced services to citizens.
