The Governor of Erbil meets with the head of the Organization of Industrialists and Businessmen in Diyarbakir

The Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, and his accompanying delegation, accompanied by Mehmet Kaya, Chairman of the Diyarbakir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met on Thursday, May 2, 2024, Mustafa Fidan, Chairman of the Organization of Industrialists and Businessmen in Diyarbakir and members of the Executive Committee of the organization.
 

At the meeting, the leader of the industrialists and business community in Diyarbakir greeted the Governor of Erbil and his accompanying delegation, offering an overview of the organization's operations, activities, and background. They showcased their exports and products destined for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the importance of enhancing and fostering economic and trade ties between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey. The

Governor of Erbil, in turn, highlighted the economic landscape and proposed strategies to bolster trade dynamics and improve economic conditions, industry, and investment between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region. He underscored Erbil's concerted efforts to advance the economic sector.

He further stated, "We extend an open invitation to all businessmen, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and investors. In Erbil Governorate, we stand prepared to facilitate all legal and administrative procedures for companies and businessmen from Turkey and beyond, enabling them to actively contribute to the advancement and expansion of the commercial, industrial, and investment sectors in Erbil."
