The Governor of Erbil visits the Cezire Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On Friday, May 3, 2024, Governor Omed Khoshnaw of Erbil, along with his delegation, visited the Cezire Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They were warmly received by Omar Farouk, President of the chamber, and several members. The purpose of the visit was to enhance relations and promote trade activity at the Ibrahim Khalil - Al-Khabour international border gate.
 

During the meeting, Governor Omed Khoshnaw of Erbil discussed the economic landscape and strategies for strengthening and advancing relations between the Cezire Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He emphasized the need to boost commercial activity at the Ibrahim Khalil - Khabour international border gate and to foster economic, industrial, commercial, and investment ties between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey. He highlighted Erbil's significant efforts in developing the economic sector.

He further stated, "Our doors are open to all businessmen, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and investors. In Erbil Governorate, we stand prepared to offer all necessary legal and administrative support to companies and businessmen from Turkey and beyond, enabling them to contribute to the advancement and growth of the commercial, industrial, and investment sectors in Erbil."

The President of the Cezire Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized the importance of enhancing industrial and commercial ties between the Kurdistan Region and his country.

At the end of the visit, Governor Omed Khoshnaw and the Cezire Chamber of Commerce and Industry exchanged souvenirs.
