Governor of Erbil participates in the Second Day of the 44th Francophone Cities Conference in Switzerland

Today, Thursday, May 23, 2024, Governor Omed Khoshnaw of Erbil participated in the second day of the 44th Francophone Cities Conference held in the Lausanne, Switzerland under the theme "International Cooperation and Local Authorities: A Center for Innovation."
 

During the conference's second day, various panel discussions were held addressing sports and urban development. Subsequently, topics pertaining to environmental issues and weather were also deliberated upon.

It’s noteworthy that, the Governor of Erbil received an official invitation to participate in the conference, where 500 governors, mayors, and representatives from 50 countries will gather. The conference is scheduled to run until the 24th of this month.
