Scholarship Announcement Ceremony Hosted by Chinese Consulate General in Erbil with Erbil Governor in Attendance

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, a ceremony was held at the Cultural Center of Salahaddin University to announce several scholarships. The event, organized by the Chinese Consulate in coordination with Salahaddin University, was attended by Dr. Hemin Hawrami, a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, Liu Jun, the Consul General of China in the Kurdistan Region, and numerous party and government officials, teachers, and university students.
 

The Department of Cultural Representation and Relations of China provides 31 scholarships for master's and doctoral programs.
 

During the ceremony, several speeches highlighted the significance of strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and China, a major global power with a robust economy.
