Paris.. Meeting between Kurdistan Region and Baghdad delegations with the President of Iraq

On Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the Iraqi Embassy in Paris, France, a meeting took place in the context of the participation of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq delegations in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Governor of Erbil, along with the Kurdistan Regional Government's representative in Paris and the Kurdistan Region delegation, met with Dr. Latif Rashid, the President of Iraq. The meeting was also attended by Iraq's Minister of Youth and Sports, several Iraqi parliamentarians, and some of the President's advisors.
 

During the meeting, discussions focused on the joint participation of the Kurdistan Region and Iraqi delegations in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Afterwards, a luncheon was organized by the Iraqi Ambassador in Paris for all attendees.
