Erbil ... A book was introduced on the 10th anniversary of the Yazidi genocide

On Sunday, August 4, 2024, with the presence of Sasan Awni, Minister of Municipalities, and Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, and Safeen Dizayee, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government, and Aryan Salah al-Din, Deputy Minister of Culture, and a number of other party and government officials, consuls, delegates and representatives of countries in Erbil, and writers and intellectuals, in a ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Yazidi genocide, a photographic art book by artist "Rostem Aghale", which Kurdistan Chronicle magazine supported its publication, was introduced.
 

In the ceremony, along with introducing the book, light was shed on the genocide of Yazidis by ISIS terrorists. At the same time, appreciation was expressed for the support of the international coalition in the war against ISIS. Emphasis was placed on implementing the Sinjar Agreement, and the continued support of the international community was called for to ensure the safe return of Yazidi displaced persons to their areas.
