In Erbil ... a workshop was organized under the title (Academic Relations and Korean Language and Culture)

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, with the attendance of Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, Seongcheol Lim, the Consul General of the Republic of South Korea in Erbil, Dr. Kamaran Younis, the President of Salahaddin University, and a number of other university presidents, experts, specialists, professors, and university students, a workshop was organized at the Cultural and Social Center of the University. The Research Center of Salahaddin University, in coordination with the South Korean Consulate in Erbil, hosted the workshop under the title 'Academic Relations and Korean Language and Culture'.
 

In the workshop, experts and specialists not only discussed the advancement and development of academic relations, but also focused on areas of shared academic interest, language, culture, and Kurdish-Korean relations.

In this regard, the Governor of Erbil, while expressing appreciation for the university presidency, the Korean Consulate in Erbil, and all parties involved in organizing this scientific workshop and bringing the two sides closer, highly valued the efforts and roles of experts and specialists in explaining the topics.
