Governor of Erbil Welcomes Governor of Lodz, Poland

On Saturday afternoon, November 23, 2024, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, accompanied by Hemen Murad, General Director of Erbil Agriculture, welcomed Marek Mazur, Governor of Lodz, Poland, at Erbil International Airport. The visit comes following an official invitation from the Erbil Governor to visit the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, the Governor of Erbil welcomed the guest and expressed his happiness about the visit, hoping that the Polish governor would enjoy his stay in the capital city of Erbil. Later, while both sides emphasized strengthening their general, commercial, and agricultural relations, they discussed the opening of an International Agricultural Exhibition scheduled for the 25th of this month in the capital Erbil. The exhibition will feature 30 Polish agricultural and food companies and will continue for 3 days.

For his part, the Governor of Lodz, which is the third-largest city in Poland, thanked the Governor of Erbil for the warm reception and the official invitation, while highly appreciating the support, backing, and assistance provided by the governorate to Polish companies and the Polish Agricultural Innovators Organization.
