Erbil... A Special Korea Corner Opened at Tishk University
On Monday, December 16, 2024, in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, a special Korea Corner was opened at Tishk University Library, aimed at strengthening and enriching culture and expanding the circle of scientific and educational activities.
At the ceremony, which was attended by Seungchul Lim, Consul General of the Republic of South Korea in Erbil, Falah Mustafa, Advisor to the President of Kurdistan Region, along with the University President, faculty members, and students, after the opening by the attendees, the Governor of Erbil expressed his appreciation for the opening of this corner.
He hoped it would be beneficial for students and praised Tishk University's role as an academic institution in prioritizing books and scientific resources.
The purpose of establishing this corner is to offer information, scientific resources, and educational courses. Serving as an information center, it houses dozens of books across various fields of science and knowledge, making it a valuable resource for university students.
