ERBIL... Commemoration Ceremony Held for Turkey Earthquake Anniversary

Today, Thursday, February 6, 2025, a commemoration ceremony for the anniversary of the Turkey earthquake was held at Erbil Citadel, attended by Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, Turkish Consul General Erman Topcuu, KRG Minister of State for Minority Affairs Aydin Maruf, advisers to the Kurdistan Region President, Falah Hassan, Head of NGO Department, along with numerous diplomats and city residents.
 

The attendees reaffirmed their sympathy, solidarity, and loyalty to the victims' families and once again expressed their condolences.
 

It is worth noting that during the Turkish earthquake disaster, under the guidance and recommendations of the respected Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister and the call of Erbil Governor, an extensive humanitarian campaign was launched in Erbil city to provide aid and assistance to those affected by the earthquake in Turkey.
