The Governor of Erbil, on the Erbil Citadel, welcomed the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Political Affairs

Today, Monday, February 17, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, accompanied by Falah Hassan, Chairman of the High Commission for the Citadel’s Restoration, Shaker Hussein, Head of Relations between the Region and Iran, and the Iranian Consul General in Erbil, welcomed Majid Takht Ravanchi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Political Affairs, on the Erbil Citadel.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly in the economic and trade exchange fields, and the latest developments and events in Iraq and the region were discussed.
 

Afterwards, they toured several cultural and historical sites on the Citadel, as well as Machko's Cafe and the Erbil bazaar.
