Erbil.... The farewell ceremony for the British Ambassador to Iraq

Tonight, Saturday, February 22, 2025, Fawzi Hariri, Head of the Kurdistan Region Presidency Diwan, Hemen Hawrami, member of the Political Bureau, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Falah Mustafa, Advisor to the President of Kurdistan Region, and Safeen Dizayee, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations, participated in the farewell ceremony for the British Ambassador to Iraq.

During the event, which was attended by representatives of political parties, organizations, and diplomatic missions, the Governor of Erbil, while wishing success for the British Ambassador's new role and programs, reaffirmed that the Kurdistan Region is committed to strengthening relations between both sides. This is based on joint cooperation with friends in the international community in general and Britain in particular.
 

For his part, the British Ambassador reiterated his country's support for maintaining security, stability, and coordination in the areas of economy, culture, investment, and development with the Kurdistan Region.
