Governor of Erbil receives a number of German university students

Today, Sunday, March 10, 2025. Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, received a number of German university students at the Governor's Office.
 

During the meeting, the Governor of Erbil, while welcoming the students, expressed his hope that they would enjoy their time in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

Later, he discussed the coexistence, tolerance, reconciliation, brotherhood, and love between all components of the Kurdistan Region in general and the capital Erbil in particular, which has become a source of pride and a beautiful example in the region and the world.
 

Afterwards, he highlighted Erbil Governorate's work and plans for serving citizens and delivering service projects across various sectors. He also emphasized the role of universities, institutes, and academic and scientific centers in advancing society, and stressed the importance of students' duties as an active segment in this process. Finally, he wished the students success.

For their part, while thanking the Governor of Erbil for the reception they received, the students expressed their happiness about their visit and the developments they have witnessed in the capital city of Erbil.
