Governor of Erbil Visits the Iraqi Embassy in France

On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, the governor of Erbil, accompanied by Dr. Ali Dolamari, the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in France, visited the Iraqi Embassy in Paris and was received by Dr. Wedi’ al-Bayati, Iraq’s ambassador to France.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the relations between the Iraqi Embassy and the KRG representation in France, and both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening these ties.

Later, they also discussed several other issues related to the relations between the Kurdistan Region, France, and Iraq.

It is worth mentioning that tomorrow, as part of his visit to Paris and participation in the Nowruz celebration ceremony, the governor of Erbil is scheduled to meet with Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris.

The event will take place at the main hall of the Paris City Hall, organized by the Paris Municipality in coordination with the KRG Representation, with the participation of a large number of politicians from the country.
