Paris... Erbil Governor Visits KRG Representation in France

Wednesday, March 26, 2025 - Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, visited the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) Representation in Paris, where he was received by Dr. Ali Dolamari, KRG Representative to France.

During the meeting, the Governor of Erbil praised the KRG Representation's role in France for developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and France, supporting the Kurdish diaspora in France, as well as the role of the Regional Government Representation in the issue of the Kurdish diaspora in that country, engaging with the Congress of Francophone Municipalities, strengthening ties between Erbil and Paris, and Maintaining the sister city agreement between both cities.

It is worth mentioning that, tomorrow, a Newroz celebration is scheduled to take place at the main building of the Paris City Hall by the Paris Municipality Presidency in coordination with KRG Representation and with the participation of a large number of the country's politicians and the Kurdish diaspora.
