Erbil... For the first time in the Middle East, AFP (Agence France-Presse) Photography Exhibition opens

On Saturday evening, April 5, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, accompanied by Yan Brim, the French Consul General, and several journalists, inaugurated the AFP (Agence France-Presse) photography exhibition. The exhibition showcased a selection of journalists' photographs captured during sensitive and unique moments, each photo telling a real story and narrative.
 

This exhibition is being held for the first time in the Middle East in Erbil, the capital city.
 

The Governor of Erbil, while expressing his appreciation, emphasized that such shots are evidence of awareness and professionalism, and express the courage of photographers and journalists.
