The Governor of Erbil receives a delegation from the Islamic Relief organization

Today, Thursday, April 10, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, welcomed a delegation from Islamic Relief organization at the Governorate Office. The delegation consisted of the head of the organization's office and several members of the mentioned organization.

During the meeting, which was attended by Naz Jalal, the Director of EJCC in Erbil Governorate, the visiting delegation discussed their work, projects, and activities. They also highlighted their ongoing coordination and cooperation with Erbil Governorate and all relevant departments of the Kurdistan Regional Government. The delegation praised the role of the Governor and the Erbil Governorate team in all the joint efforts carried out with their organization during the past period to serve displaced persons and refugees within Erbil Governorate's boundaries.

In return, the Governor of Erbil highly valued the organization's projects and activities during the past period in Erbil, the capital. He also thanked them for their coordination and partnership with the Erbil Governorate and wished them success in their work. To ensure the success of their activities in Erbil, he reaffirmed the full support, cooperation, and coordination of the Governorate and its team. He also emphasized working together in order to provide greater service to the IDPs and refugees in the camps within the Erbil Governorate.


Finally, the visiting delegation expressed great thanks to the Governor of Erbil for his support and cooperation regarding their organization. They emphasized continued aid and assistance for IDPs and refugees within the framework of their projects, in partnership with the Erbil Governorate. They also expressed their readiness to provide further assistance to the IDPs within the Erbil Governorate.
